課程概述 |
The course is aimed to familiarize students with English writing conventions. The course starts with the paragraph structure, then moves on to the essay structure, and concludes with the five common rhetoric modes in English academic writing. There will also be a one-hour grammar session every week. |

At the end of this course, students are expected to have a better understanding of
*grammar & vocabulary;
*sentential structures & strategies;
*paragraph structure & strategies;
*discoursal structure & strategies;
*style and register;
*peer review skills;
*pre-writing preparations and post-writing editing skills.
